Meet your hosts

Welcome to Stable Cottage, where you'll be hosted by a family with deep roots in the local community. Sarah and Simon, along with their two children, have been proud residents of the beautiful village of Beauworth since 2011.

In fact, Simon has even deeper connections to the area, having grown up in the village and with Stable Cottage situated next to what has been his family home for over 50 years. As your hosts, they'll be happy to share their knowledge of the local area with you, providing insider tips and recommendations to help you make the most of your stay.

Take a tour

At Stable Cottage, you'll be able to experience the best of both worlds - all the home comforts you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay, surrounded by the beautiful rural landscape of grazing livestock and ancient oaks.

The cottage itself is lovingly decorated and furnished with everything you need to make yourself at home. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, so you can cook up a storm and enjoy your meals in the comfortable dining area. There is also a cozy living room, complete with a logburner, where you can unwind with a good book or watch your favourite movie on the TV.

We know that the little things matter, which is why we've added a spacious hallway with a laundry area and a downstairs loo with a clothes drying rack.

Amazing stay, very peaceful and the place is brand new as well, so all shiny and sparkly. Lovely location, very private and secluded but within a few miles of a couple of towns so not far from the action if needed.

All amenities are there, lots of stuff in the kitchen and nothing you’d couldn’t tackle if you’re a budding cook. Sarah was lovely, very welcoming and helpful throughout the trip.

Luxurious Haven. We needed a home away from home whilst we had our kitchen refitted so we spent a lot of time in the cottage. Real high end luxury bed and bedroom a full kitchen and plenty of space. Sarah is lovely and very helpful. My husband put in a full weeks work the Wi-Fi was superb and he was very happy.

We were fortunate to spend the week with newborn lambs in the next field. A prefect break.
